Of course, I use this site primarily for stalking some of my old friends, especially now that I don't have even a reasonable camera (and no longer live somewhere like Alaska where all the pictures you take are automatically awesome).
So, I'm going to share with the mostly deaf population of the internet a few thoughts that I consider of great importance at the moment:
1. Read The Stuff of Though, by Steven Pinker. It's about language, in a nutshell! It's so interesting, and makes your brain walk in circles for hours. I found it at a used book store, bought it because the first paragraph was awesome, then remembered that it had been recommended to me weeks ago by my favorite Canadian (even though he doesn't have the cute French Canadian accent like some of my other WoW people).
2. I have been no-groceries broke for a couple weeks now. I am tired of spaghetti noodles. Thank god I'm visiting the family for the rest of the summer. (I could have bought groceries after I sold some old books for that purpose, but.... then I bought The Stuff of Thought)
3. Am I going to college for the right major? I know all you people out there must suffer the same anxiety and indecision, what do I do? I love biology, and am decent at it, but I'm a natural at the communications area (except for interpersonal communication and foreign languages, 5ish years of French and I can barely ask for a slice of pizza). And I love it. I love public speaking (I am terrified of it, but if I like my topic, you all can imagine that I LOVE being allowed to rant about it without interruption while dozens of people are forced to listen), I love writing, blarg. Hm.
4. Why do I never pack until the last second.
